Foreign Language Certificate Examination

Autumn Session 2019/2020

The Foreign Language Certificate has been postponed due to the current situation with the Covid-19 outbreak.

An exam adapted to the current situation with a reduced fee will be held in the 2019/2020 autumn exam session.

This exam is only for those students of the University of Wroclaw who are required to pass the exam and obtain ECTS credit points in accordance with the study programme in the summer semester 2019/2020 and:

  • failed their language course,
  • have not been exempted from taking the language course,
  • stopped attending / dropped out from their language course or did not take a course.

Upon passing the exam students will receive a document on the basis of which they will be able to get a grade in USOS and be awarded appropriate ETCS credit points. Students will not receive the SPNJO UWr Certificate.

The format of the exam has been reduced to an oral part only. The exam will take place online on the MS TEAMS platform and students will be expected to keep their cameras on for the duration of the exam.

Please note: The B2+ exam does not exempt students from the B2 exam.

Rules and regulations regarding the exam on MS Teams

Candidates taking the exam should:

  • familiarize themselves with the new form of the exam and the scope of the material (programme),
  • register by sending a scan of the proof of payment and the completed application form to: egzamin.platny.spnjo@uwr.edu.pl before the deadline (see: How to register below),
  • join the online exam meeting on time - turn both the camera and the microphone on,
  • present a valid photo ID to the camera for inspection.

English:

  • B2: 05.09.2020 (Saturday) from 9:00 am
  • B1: 06.09.2020 (Sunday) from 9:00 am
  • B2+: 06.09.2020 (Sunday) from 9:00 am

German:

  • B1, B2, B2+: 04.09.2020 (Friday) from 9:00 am

French, Spanish and Italian:

  • B1, B2, B2+: 04.09.2020 (Friday) from 9:00 am

Russian:

  • B1, B2, B2+: 04.09.2020 (Friday) from 9:00 am

Latin:

  • 04.09.2020 (Friday) from 9:00 am

Candidates who have failed to complete the abovementioned formalities within the designated dates will not be admitted to the examination.

Fee

  • The exam fee for the students of the University of Wroclaw is PLN 120
